You can tack this onto the end of the URL when viewing an issue ?oldIssueView=true I found this issue where they documented that they are choosing not to support wiki markdown.Īnd I found this backlog issue that is still open where people have asked for a plain text editor option.īe advised that on a per-issue-viewing basis you can switch to viewing that one issue at that time in the old issue view, and then the paste of the wiki markdown will work. The do support limited markdown, but it does not appear to include a markdown for creating tables. In this new issue view wiki markdown is no longer supported. Atlassian has been working on a new interface for the issue view and converted all JIRA Cloud clients to it as of March 31, 2021.
